Musical Biography
Jessica Seibert is a performer, studio recording artist, and educator whose career blends the worlds of classical orchestral performance and technical precision with rock violins high-energy, liberating expression. Equally at home on the concert stage, in studio recordings, and private lessons, her work reflects versatility, musicianship, and creative exploration.
Jessica has performed extensively in ensemble and solo settings, developing a strong foundation in classical repertoire. Currently a full-time violinist in the Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra, she is also currently serving as Concertmaster of the Colorado Mesa University Orchestra. As concertmaster, Jessica works closely with conductors and fellow musicians, leading sectionals, shaping interpretation, and supporting the artistic cohesion of the ensemble.
Alongside orchestral performance, Jessica is deeply engaged in rock violin, bringing the instrument into contemporary and amplified contexts. Performing with bands and touring projects, she explores the violin as a dynamic, expressive voice within modern music, mixing an array of effects pedals, fiddle style licks and classical technique with improvisation, groove, and stage presence. This dual focus has shaped a distinctive artistic identity that challenges traditional boundaries of the instrument.
As a musician, Jessica is dedicated to expanding the role of the violin across genres while maintaining a high standard of technical and musical integrity. Her work reflects a belief that strong classical training and creative freedom are not opposing forces, but complementary paths that enrich performance, collaboration, and teaching.
